About Quadruple Marker (Second-Trimester) Screening
The Quad screen combines β-hCG, UE3, AFP, and Inhibin A to estimate risk of Trisomy 21, Trisomy 18, and open neural tube defect (ONTD). It is interpreted alongside your ultrasound findings and clinical details. Incorrect or incomplete clinical history or ultrasound (USG) details can lead to inaccurate risk estimation in the report.
