About Quadruple Marker (Second-Trimester) Screening
The Quad screen combines β-hCG, UE3, AFP, and Inhibin A to estimate risk of Trisomy 21, Trisomy 18, and open neural tube defect (ONTD). It is interpreted alongside your ultrasound and clinical details.Incorrect clinical history and USG report can lead wrong risk analysis report.
No fasting is required. A venipuncture sample (~3 mL) is collected; typical TAT is ~48 hours.
