Is fasting required for these tests?
Yes. A strict fasting period of 10 to 12 hours is required for all three profiles (Screen, Basic, and Advanced) to ensure accurate blood sugar and lipid readings. You may only consume plain water during this time.
What sample types are collected?
A blood sample (drawn from a vein) is required for all profiles. The Basic and Advanced profiles also require a spot urine sample to check for microalbumin levels and kidney health.
How long does it take to get the reports?
Standard online reporting time is between 12 to 36 hours after the sample is collected. Soft copies are securely sent directly to your registered email and WhatsApp.
Is the laboratory accredited?
Yes. All samples are safely processed by Thyrocare, which holds strict international quality accreditations including NABL and CAP.
What is the difference between Screen, Basic, and Advanced?
