FAQs on the Comprehensive Wellness Checkup

Is ferritin included in this package?
No. The package includes serum iron but not ferritin, TIBC, UIBC or transferrin saturation. Choose an iron deficiency or anemia profile when complete iron studies are required.
Does the electrolyte profile include potassium?
No. The current electrolyte profile contains sodium and chloride. Potassium can be booked separately or obtained through a package that specifically lists all three electrolytes.
Are urine microalbumin and urine ACR included?
No. The package includes complete routine urine analysis, but it does not include urinary microalbumin, urine creatinine or the albumin-creatinine ratio. These tests are available in advanced diabetes and kidney profiles.
Are Vitamin D2 and Vitamin D3 reported separately?
No. The included test reports 25-hydroxy Vitamin D Total. It does not provide separate Vitamin D2 and Vitamin D3 values.
Can Mentzer Index or RDWI confirm thalassemia?
No. Mentzer Index and RDWI are calculated red-cell indices that can help distinguish common microcytic patterns. Thalassemia or another hemoglobin variant requires confirmation through tests such as HPLC or hemoglobin electrophoresis.
Can I complete the checkup without providing a urine sample?
Yes, but all 24 urine parameters will remain unreported. The price will not change because urine analysis is included in the package’s fixed configuration.
