Top Functional Medicine Diagnostic Profiles

These packages are for different functional medicine diagnosis needs. Functional Medicine Comprehensive and Functional Medicine Master are broad multi-system profiles that combine many routine and advanced investigations in one package. Food Intolerance, Type 2 Diabetic, Gastro Immunity, and Complete Thyroid are focused panels for specific clinical questions such as diet response, glucose metabolism, gut-linked health, thyroid function, and autoimmunity.

01 140 Parameters

Functional Medicine Comprehensive

A broad blood and urine test profile with detailed organ function parameters, metabolic and pancreatic health, heart risk and inflammation markers, diabetes traits, autoimmunity, mineral and vitamin levels, thyroid and hormone balance, and other baseline markers.

Offer: ₹5,499 MRP: ₹22,000
Clinical Utility
Used by functional medicine practitioners when they need wide laboratory correlation across nutrition, metabolism, inflammation, toxic element exposure, thyroid function, glucose metabolism, and organ function. In ASD-related nutritional or metabolic reviews, obesity management, thyroid disorder, diabetes, or chronic symptom evaluation, the report works as supporting lab test information, not as a standalone diagnosis.
02 148 Parameters

Functional Medicine Master

An expansion of the comprehensive package with additional blood tests for hormones, allergy, and cardiac risk markers. Besides functional medicine utilities, the package is also useful in detailed preventive health screening.

Offer: ₹7,999 MRP: ₹25,000
Clinical Utility
This profile is more suitable when the prescription includes a comprehensive full body checkup along with hormone-related tests and IgE-based allergy evaluation.
03 218 Parameters

Food Intolerance Profile

Measures delayed hypersensitivity (IgG antibodies) to 218 food items to help isolate non-IgE dietary triggers. It is different from a food allergy panel and also known as a food sensitivity test.

Offer: ₹7,499 MRP: ₹15,000
Clinical Utility
Food intolerance results are used by clinicians or dietitians to plan targeted diet elimination or changes. Do not self-diagnose based solely on the report.
04 69 Parameters

Type 2 Diabetic Package

A diabetes-focused profile for reviewing blood sugar control, insulin resistance, lipid status, kidney and heart impact, and other metabolism-linked parameters.

Offer: ₹3,499 MRP: ₹8,500
Clinical Utility
Supports ongoing metabolic health management and associated risk monitoring. Functional medicine practitioners use this panel to correlate blood sugar control, insulin resistance, lipid risk, kidney impact, and inflammation-related findings with diet, activity, weight, medicines, and follow-up plans.
05 Gut + Immunity Focus

Gastro Immunity Panel

Includes blood tests related to gut-linked health, pancreatic enzymes, nutritional status, trace elements, heavy metals, gut infection, and immunity-related parameters.

Offer: ₹5,990 MRP: ₹11,000
Clinical Utility
Useful when the practitioner wants to review gut-linked health along with pancreatic enzymes, nutrient status, trace elements, heavy metals, and immunity-related parameters.
06

Complete Thyroid Package

A comprehensive thyroid testing panel, including T3, T4, FT3, FT4, Ultrasensitive TSH, TRAb, Anti-TG, and Anti-TPO.

Clinical Utility
Useful for monitoring long-term thyroid disorders, thyroid autoimmunity, and treatment follow-up when these tests are advised by the treating doctor.

FAQs on Functional Medicine Diagnostics

What is the difference between a routine full-body checkup and a functional medicine package?
Routine full body checkups usually focus on common preventive screening areas such as CBC, liver function, kidney function, thyroid, diabetes, lipid profile, vitamins, and urine analysis. Functional medicine-oriented packages combine these baseline tests with deeper nutritional, metabolic, autoimmune, gut-health, toxic element, or inflammation-related parameters, depending on the profile selected. They are useful when a clinician wants broader laboratory data to connect symptoms with nutrition, metabolism, gut health, thyroid function, inflammation, toxic element exposure, or long-term preventive risk.
Why do functional medicine practitioners emphasize heavy metal and trace element testing?
Heavy metal and trace element testing is included in some functional medicine profiles because toxic elements and essential minerals can affect metabolism, nerve function, hormonal balance, and nutritional status. These results are reviewed along with symptoms, diet, work exposure, medical history, and other test reports.
Are these packages and profiles useful in routine health checkups?
Yes. These packages and profiles are equally useful in routine preventive health checkups as well as when your doctor asks for a group of lab tests included in these panels. These are not different from advanced and specialized health checkups. However, these packages/panels/profiles add a few additional parameters that are specific to the functional medicine necessity.
My doctor prescribed specific tests not listed here. Can I customize a package?
Yes. Functional medicine prescriptions are highly personalized. Instead of booking expensive individual tests, send a photo of your prescription to our WhatsApp support at +91 70701 77147. Our support team will check the prescribed tests and suggest the closest available Thyrocare profile or individual test combination.
