Sample Type
For the Element 22 (Heavy Metal Toxicity and Nutrient Element) profile test, you need to give either a 3 ml blood or urine sample. However, a blood sample in a whole blood (EDTA) tube can ensure better results. Also, from urine samples, all heavy metals can’t be detected properly. So, blood samples are preferred to diagnose all 14 toxic elements and eight nutrient elements.
