Who Is Thyrocare?
Thyrocare Technologies Limited is a pioneer in Indian diagnostics. Its automated, IT-enabled laboratory network serves doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, businesses, insurers, healthcare platforms, and individual patients.
Thyrocare became part of the API Holdings group in 2021. Its franchise and partnership network serves healthcare providers across India, while patients can book home sample collection and receive their reports digitally.
Home sample collection is available across more than 5,000 serviceable PIN codes in India.

How Thyrocare Maintains Testing Quality
100% NABL-accredited network
As of 5 December 2024, Thyrocare was the first national diagnostic chain in India to have NABL accreditation across all its laboratories.
CAP and ISO credentials
Thyrocare has been CAP-accredited since 2007 and is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
Pathologist verification
Reports are verified by expert MD pathologists, and abnormal results are rechecked before release.
Traceable sample handling
Collection protocols, barcode tracking and cold-chain logistics help maintain sample traceability and integrity from collection to laboratory processing.

At the 4th National Diagnostics Forum & Awards by Voice of Healthcare, Thyrocare was named National Diagnostics Champion of the Year and received the national awards for Best Diagnostic Lab Chain and Patient-Centric Diagnostic Company.

Each sample is barcoded, transported under temperature control, processed at the assigned laboratory, and verified before the report is released.

- Barcode identificationA unique barcode links the sample to the customer’s order and tracks it throughout processing.
- Cold-chain transportTemperature-controlled logistics help maintain sample integrity during transport to the assigned laboratory.
- Testing and verificationThe assigned laboratory performs each test using the required analyzer or test method. Technical checks and pathologist verification follow.
- Digital reportAfter verification, the report is sent digitally. Delivery time varies by test and processing location.
