It is an array of tests used to detect hepatitis infections. The parameters cover various antigens and antibodies that assess the presence of Hepatitis A, B, E, and C viruses. This profile is generally recommended for people suffering from abdominal pain, dark-colored urine, jaundice, vomiting, weight loss, fatigue, and general itching. These tests detect current or past infections, how contagious the illness is, and whether it has caused liver damage.

This profile detects the presence of Hepatitis B virus in the body. It also determines the infectivity of the disease as well as whether the infection is acute or chronic. Hepatitis B infection can cause damage to the liver and can be fatal if not treated on time. People suffering from jaundice, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain and dark urine often undergo this test to ensure if these health conditions are occurring due to Hepatitis B infection.

HBsAg, HCV, and HAV rapid tests are common screening tests for Hepatitis  B, C, and A.  These tests are very cost-effective. But for proper diagnosis of the severity of the infection, rapid tests are not suggested.
